Event Description:

Pierce Family Advocacy Center 10th Anniversary Celebration

Join the Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center as we celebrate 10 Years of Hope in Walton County at the Pierce Family Advocacy Center.

The community is invited to commemorate a decade of healing and advocacy for children in Walton County. Since opening in 2016, the Pierce Family Advocacy Center has served more than 3,000 children experiencing abuse, abandonment, and neglect, providing critical advocacy services, trauma-informed therapy, and prevention education.

The celebration will include remarks from ECCAC CEO Julie Porterfield, as well as Jim Pierce and Tammy Pierce, whose generous support helped make the Walton County center possible. Guests will enjoy light refreshments and guided tours of the facility.

In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a special Child Abuse Prevention proclamation will also be presented by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.

This event is an opportunity to celebrate the impact of the Pierce Center, honor the community partnerships that make this work possible, and continue building a safer future for children.
