Free Beach Tram Service Makes Beach Access Easy
Planning a beach day should feel easy from the start, and Walton County Beach Park and Ride is here to help. Formerly known as Walton County Transportation, this free Beach Tram service gives visitors a convenient way to get to the beach with less stress and more time to enjoy the day. It’s the same friendly service, now with a new name.
You may already be familiar with this convenience, but here's a reminder to share with your guests:
The tram program connects two county pay parking lots with some of our visitors’ favorite beach accesses, making it a great option for those who want a smoother, less stressful way to get to the beach.
This is a great resource to mention to guests who may be asking about where to park, how to access the beach or how to make the most of their time here. Information about Beach Tram schedules, routes and stops is available at beachparkandride.com. Our guide to the South Walton Beach Trams is another great resource.
We also have some collateral available to you, including Beach Tram rack cards, route maps and select merch. If you’re interested in having any of these items at your property, please reach out to Industry Relations Specialist Lisa Foster.
As a reminder, daily non-resident parking without a permit during peak season, March through October, is $5 per hour or $15 for the full day at our three pay parking lots: 393 Park & Ride, Grayton Beach Park & Ride and Van Ness Butler, Jr. For more details, guests can visit parkwaltonco.org.
