As one of only 11 such centers in Florida, we provide high-risk pregnancy care in a variety of settings. The Family Birth Place offers Walton County's only neonatal intensive care unit to care for premature and critically ill babies. This 10-bed, Level II unit cares for infants born prematurely, up to two months early, who weigh more than 3.3 pounds.
